Defining Personal Style

Something I’m often asked is, “How would you describe my style?”—anticipating a one-word answer like edgy or minimalistic. The reality is, choosing one particular style tends to put us in a box. We all have different sides to us based on our personality, lifestyle, and so much more. The same can be said about our personal style. Some days, we may feel more feminine, sexy, or like we’re channeling our inner Carrie Bradshaw. Other days, we might lean into something edgier, bolder, or *insert however we’re feeling that day.*

Regardless of what that may be, you are still you, and you can express that in your own way through your wardrobe—it’s all-encompassing. That’s what’s so beautiful about personal style and self-expression to me: there are infinite ways to share who you are with the world. If you take away anything from this, let it be that this is your permission to break out of the box of one defined style. Choose what truly makes you feel like you, because at the end of the day, that’s what this is all about.
